Weddings and Parties

Tim is continuously amazed and humbled at being requested to play at private functions, for example, he feels it a huge honour at being asked by a Bride and Groom to provide entertainment for them and their guests on the biggest day of their life, when there are thousands of other musicians who could have been invited, and the same goes for anniversaries and parties.

Nevertheless, he has had to learn to accept the almost daily embarrassment of being told what an amazing pianist he is, from the folk who gather round to listen, watch his fingers kiss the keys and dance up and down the keyboard. His versatility encompasses everything from a few classical pieces, to hymns, pop songs and nursery rhymes, as well as the regular "evergreens", a term denoting songs which are always fresh and popular, and "never lose their leaves", no matter how old they are. No sooner that somebody requests a certain piece, Tim is usually into it before they've finished asking, and his piano playing ability encompasses all ages, from playing at children's parties, to entertaining the elderly in care homes.

Tim is available to play for your wedding or party and if you don't have a piano, it matters not - Tim will bring his own. He has 3 available choices, a Yamaha Grand Piano, a Roland Electric Piano and his most popular Busking Piano, which travels around with him, which he has especially adapted to take almost anywhere, and is designed for playing outside in all weather conditions.

Every wedding and party is treated individually and arranged with Tim personally. Wedding couples sometimes want Tim to play for the drinks reception only, although most couples opt for the complete package of Tim playing for the wedding breakfast and up to when the band or disco take over, as well as the drinks reception. Tim is sometimes asked to play at the service, be it a church or civil service, and he has composed two wedding marches, "Helena" and "Rebecca."

Prices are worked out on an individual basis, depending on the geographical location, the instrumentation required, the equipment needed and the length of time performing but to give some idea for budgeting purposes, prices normally range from £250.00 to £750.00 If the Grand Piano is a requirement, the moving and transportation will obviously make a considerable difference to the budget.
